Strani is a long village nearby Slovak frontier. Mentioned already in 1357 when there was a strong-hold and a courtyard. The glasshouses in Kvetna are ranked among the eldest in Czech Republic. Carnival customs have been kept here, especially the dance “pod sable”, which took up the composer Leos Janacek as well. We may find there typical exhibits of folklore architecture.
